Interaction Designers are the amongst the most sought-after professionals on the market - and this demand is not likely to diminish in the years to come. Hence, the purpose of MAInD programme is to train skilled professionals qualified for a wide range of professions and who play a key role within the most innovative industrial and design fields.

This week we interview Silio Keiser, former student who attendend our programme in 17/18 and asked him a few questions about his current position as Interaction Designer.

Where are you currently working?
The company name is Bitforge based in Z├╝rich. It is a mobile app developer company with a specialization in AR products. At Bitforge I'm the first and right now only Interaction Designer.

How did the MAInD program help you become a professional Interaction Designer?
The MAInD program showed me throughout the entire course many diverse professional opportunities. Every lesson we had was closely connected to a professional reality. The base concept for all the lessons was to find a solution for a real problem or opportunity.

What is the key lesson your learnt from our program which still accompanies you in your professional career?
For me the most valuable key lesson I learnt is connected to the thick schedule of different classes in such a short time frame. This teaches how to juggle many tasks, allowing you to understand what are the most important subtasks you really need to master and which ones are less in need of the best solution.

Which project of yours did you enjoy and inspire you the most?
For me the project which I enjoyed the most was my final thesis. It was really nice to see how I could find helpful advanced solutions to solve my thesis topic in so little time. I was able to create a really solid base for a pitchable business idea.
