This lecture shows RNDR’s work and process. RNDR’s work is deeply rooted in software yet seeks to connect to a human factor. In their work they use machine learning both as a tool and a subject. Their work often manifests as interactive media installations but has in recent times also gotten online and video forms.
Edwin Jakobs is a founding partner of RNDR, a design studio based in The Hague. His work revolves around software and data, and ranges from visual art, information design to software engineering. Edwin is the principal developer of the OPENRNDR open source framework for creative coding.
