This year the Master of Arts in Interaction Design collaborates with the Circolo del Design in Turin for an interactive installation. Students worked during the course of Prototyping Interactive Installation held by Fabio Franchino and Giovanni Profeta designing five different solutions. Treemate is the selected installation to be exposed during the Earthrise23 festival, that will be in Turin from the 8th of June to the 11th.
Treemate is an immersive journey that connects users with a tree from Piemonte based on their personality. An interactive quiz will take the user through randomly selected questions and revel their tree match based on their choices. Two action buttons and a central scanner, which are illuminated in turn to tell the user their status and guide them through the experience.
