Studio ennezerotre is a multimedia production studio set up in 2003. It was set up as image and spatial based research laboratory with a particular focus on the designing of interactive and “total” video environments. A great deal of care is given over to the creation of video scenarios and environments, be they interactive or not, that might carry a strong evocative power, and in which the images, sounds and noises capture the spectator’s attention and participation. The video image, together with the sound and the spatial/architectural design possibilities, is investigated in order to come up with new opportunities for communication and interaction with the audience. Franco Rolle graduated in Architecture from Turin Polytechnic. In 1998 he spent a semester at the Pratt Institute “School of Architecture” in New York and attended specialist courses in “High Tech Architecture” in Bath/London. In 1999 he attended the “Sommerakademie” art school in Salzburg and in 2001 obtained a master’s degree in “e-design” from the Milan Polytechnic. Since 2001 he has lectured in Theory of Design at the IED (undergraduate and master classes) of Milan and at Turin Polytechnic-Faculty of Architecture. |
