Graduated in architecture with studies at University Iuav of Venice and the School of Architecture of Barcelona, he holds a PhD in Design Sciences from the School of Doctorate Studies of University Iuav of Venice with a thesis on humanoid interfaces and robotics. As a graphic designer he worked on the visualization of large digital archives (museums, schools, foundations) and in the publishing field. He is the executive director of the research program Mobile Access to Knowledge: Culture and Safety in Africa, funded by lettera27 Foundation and the Swiss Network for International Studies.
He is the editor of the books Estetiche del camouflage (2010) with C. Casarin, and of the Italian edition of Psychology of Architecture by Heinrich Wölfflin (2010) with L. Scarpa. At SUPSI he is the coordinator of the MAS in Interaction Design and he teaches Interaction Design at the Bachelor of Arts in Visual Communication.
