The lecture will provide an introduction to VR and AR, present the structure and key components of typical systems and introduce the core concepts of immersion, presence, and the Mixed Reality (MR) continuum.

The workshops 2013 in digital fabrication and interaction design are a series of summer courses that provide designers, artists and amateurs with practical notions for the design and rapid prototyping of interactive artifacts.
